Dr Hall qualified in 1982 having trained at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School. He held his junior posts in Gloucestershire, and specialised in rheumatology and internal medicine at St Bartholomew's and St Thomas's Hospitals. Dr Hall became a Consultant in 1996 and has held posts at St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey and The Royal London Hospital. In 2009 he became a full time private practitioner.
Dr Hall has carried out research in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disorders spending a year at the Hopital Edouard Herriot in Lyon, France completing his academic studies. His published articles include papers relating to osteoporosis and the effects of hormones on arthritis.
Dr Hall practices in 3 locations at The Spine Surgery London, 30 Devonshire, The Lister Hospital in Chelsea and The Broadgate Spine and Joint Clinic in the City, near Liverpool St.
He is an active member of the British Society of Rheumatology, the National Osteoporosis Society, the Royal Society of Medicine and the Chelsea Clinical Society.
